The mission statement defines how the organization differentiates itself from other organizations in its industry. Vision statements are drawn from what the organization intends to achieve and expand into in the future. According to (Doucette & Pabico, 2018), value statements show you how an organization considers and assumes how employees will act and perform. Leadership in healthcare should always cultivate a culture of excellence. In this paper we will discuss the characteristics of a culture of excellence (CE), introduce the mission, vision, and values of Jamaica Hospital (JHMC), and explain the relation of the concept map. Culture of Excellence A culture of excellence implies to find the extremelyuseful and effective way to achieve on an organizations mission, vision, and values. A culture of excellence offers a generalized vision on the world, something that produces customs and beliefs, which precedes to procedures and operation and excludes other activities (Suciu, 2017). When an organization tries to cultivate a culture of excellence there are many characteristics, they may need to reflect on the idea.
