Change in healthcare is ever evolving. My name is Ronnie Ramah, and I am currently pursuing my MSN specializing in Executive nursing. In my future role as an Advanced practice nurse,I will be able to advocate for change for my staff and enhance the culture of excellence for the organization I serve. The leadership style I think is most relatable to me is transformational leadership style as it will assist in making changes while allowing me to inspire and motivate my team to create positive changes within an organization through my own behavior. Statement of Personal Leadership Style I feel as though transformational leadership style is like my personal leadership style. Originally, I thought that Situational leadership was my style of leadership but later realized Im more transformational. Transformational leaders focus on building relationships with people and creating change by emphasizing values (Giddens, 2018). Transformational leaders adhere to some of these traits, they generally care for others, they are trustworthy, they are honest and open, they are straightforward and approachable, and they have self-confidence and drive.
