Besides selling asphalt (which is their greatest source of revenue) to their clients, the company is a well-respected and reputable company experienced in project design and development, equipment provision, and contracting services for highways, tunnels, and viaducts. Unfortunately, due to financial challenges, the company is now insolvent. Science Construction PLC must create and present a feasible restructuring plan to the court to postpone bankruptcy execution (Erer, 2013). Problem While companies may be able to afford a negative cash flow for a short period of time, when a negative cash flow occurs for an extended period of time, financial decisions must be made. If recognized early enough, adjustments to income and/or outflow may provide a resolution to the problem.
