He goes on to describe these viewpoints and how they contribute to the creation of learning environments that are focused on learners, information, appraisal, and culture. Using deductive logic, the convergence of the three circles (Learner, Knowledge, & Assessment) naturally gives rise to an optimal society centered 'Learning Environment.' A more formal definition of the learning environment comes from the author, Tony Bates (n.d.) 'The learning environment relates to the varied physical environments, backgrounds, and cultures in which students study.' To describe my teaching environment; I am working in an International school in Kinshasa, D.R.Congo past 10 years. I am a PYP facilitator.
