Contingency contracting is a proactive intervention for the classroom in the form of an agreement between a student and teacher which stipulates behavioral or academic objectives for the student and... reinforcers or prizes that the student will receive contingent upon fulfillment of these goals (Thompson, 2015). Providing the most optimum educational chances to students with emotional and behavioral disorders should be teachers' top priority. Here, I am going to explain some of the concerns that I have been experiencing with one of my students lately, and create a hypothetical .contingency contract utilizing behaviorist principles This is regarding a youngster in grade 5. He is a smart student, and efficiently replies to questions when inquired. Notwithstanding, he does not usually finish any home assignment, class task, or group activity. He would not plunk down and put exertion in a specific work.
