The actual goal of management accounting is to use the information from the system to organize and implement a competitive strategy. Baby Freedom could use the management accountants to accomplish a better competitive strategy going forward with their company. They can analyze the data given and aid in the important decisions of Baby Freedom. One large decision that is crucial for management currently is the sacrifices the RFID will cost to the employees. IMA has a strict code of ethics and the new technology would require them to reduce or remove the employee benefits program completely. It would also require the social responsivity program to be eliminated. They also hold a great reputation for having high quality products and a new relationship with another store may cause them to decrease the quality of the product that they are producing. Because trustworthiness is very important to their customers this would pose an ethical issue. The information gathered can continue to be used on the website but it definitely needs to only be used for certain ads and testimonials on the BabyFreedom website. It also only needs to be used if permission is received from the customer. The suppliers used for the RFID technology can be thoroughly vetted and researched to make sure they satisfy the ethical professional practice. The employees that are in contact with the new technology can also observe whilst working that it meets the standards.
