HP I Historian: Mother. Patient is a healthy-looking emigrant from West African at the clinic with his mother for a well-child exam. Mother reports an uneventful pregnancy or delivery. She states that patient has had occasional abdominal distress, that began a couple of months ago. The pain is sporadic and calms down after some time. She also reports frequent loose bowel movement. The abdominal pain seems generalized when it occurs. The baby is mainly fed with goat milk as reported by the mother. The child is up to date with all his immunizations.
