UNNING HEAD: UNITED STATES HEALTH SYSTEM AND GERMANY HEALTH SYSTEM 2 Comparing the United States’ health system to the Germany’s health care system appears to be equally related in numerous ways... ; nevertheless, there are still some big dissimilarities. The Germany’s health system appears to be separated into private and public segments and financed generally by the public sector. In the both health systems, most of their expenses are based on the revenue of the government and they both have shorter life expectancies. The United States experiences difficulties in easy accessibility of health services, cost value, justice, and inability extension of managed care. Meanwhile, Germany’s health system is challenged by difficulties in managing care and containing costs. Even though, United States more money on health care sectors than Germany but, there are still a lot of individuals in the country with no health insurance. The major problem in United States’ health system is inability to incorporate standard health care system. According to Dr. Mercola, in 2007, the Commonwealth Fund conducted a large survey comparing the health care attitudes and experiences of people across seven countries: Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada and the United States. The results are quite telling about how broken the American health care system really is. Of the seven countries, Americans were the least likely to report being "relatively satisfied" with their healthcare. (Mercola, 2014) United States is considered one of the wealthy and resourceful nations in the world, but also considered one of the countries with poor health care system. Though, the United States’ government invests more funds yearly on health care delivery system than Germany’s government, but still couldn’t set up a good standard health care for people in the country.
