As part of your new role you need to review and implemen... t continuous improvement in relation to health and safety procedures in the workplace. COVID safety is important and the health and safety of staff, guests and the community is your first priority. You must implement a 'Rapid Antigen Testing' program for staff and contactless service with staff, customers and suppliers. This will provide another level of quality service and safety to customers and give staff comfort in knowing that the 'Smoke & Bea Restaurant' and Barangaroo House are taking the correct measures to ensure continued safety for all. Task 1 - Research Research 'Rapid Antigen Testing' and 'Contactless Service' in the hospitality service industry and review the many benefits of implementing a 'Rapid Antigen Testing' program for staff and ‘Contactless Service’ during the current COVID pandemic and beyond. Coronavirus or COVID-19has been a part of everyone's life since Mid-March 2020, when most schools, businesses, and towns swiftly modified how they operated to limit the spread of virus. It is a highly contagious respiratory disease that spreads through contact with other infected persons symptoms such as fever, cough, and breathing difficulties. Asymptomatic persons can also spread the virus. The term "coronavirus" actually refers to a virus family that causes a variety of illnesses, including the common cold. The virus was already called a pandemic for the reason that it already infected a vast number of people all around the world. The pandemic halted the journey of our lives and put the brakes on our usual day-to-day living. In reality, the viral outbreak had a significant impact on several industries. The hospitality business, in particular. According to World Health Organization (WHO), Contact tracing is an important approach for halting SARS-CoV-2 transmission chains and lowering COVID-19-related mortality. Contact tracing is a method of reducing virus spread by identifying those who have come into contact with an infected person. Basically, it helps to prevent the spread of certain diseases in the community. If the one person is identified as infected, the doctor may question him/her about any people they’ve come into contact with, what are the places they’ve visited etc... Identifying closed contacts may help avoid being infected. It can also tell us where the infection originated.
