Organizational Strategic Plan The concerns that were previously addressed that need to be resolved are related to continuity of care and employee retention. It has been expressed that new nurses tra... nsitioning to current urgent care positions are not following the same training template. This is affecting continuity of care. This causes a chain reaction of events that must be addressed. It starts with increased complaints from doctors and other staff about nurses not being effective in their duties. This leads to unfavorable 90 day evaluations being generated. In turn discouragement and low moral from new staff member causes them to seek employment elsewhere increasing turn over rates. First we will use the “How to Improve” with evidence based practice (EBP) to collect data on the current issue. Then carry out a plan that has been agreed upon. Study the plan and evaluate what worked and what needs revision. Make the changes and act on those changes and repeat until an effective evidenced based practical plan is put in place. [Show More]
