MAKING TOUGH DECISIONS ACCORDING TO WARREN BUFFET There are many things that are monumental in this life, and being named one of the wealthiest people in the world is a monumental moment. Wealth se... ts people apart as the luxury of accessing the finer things in life is easily disposable to someone. Because of this advantage, it is easy for someone to become proud and unethical because they can buy themselves out of any situation, but this is not the case with Warren Buffet, one of the wealthiest men in the world. Even though Buffet is a billionaire, he believes that being ethical is crucial in staying and achieving wealth. In an article written by CNBC about the topic of success, a few highlights have been given in regard to Buffet’s views on making tough decisions and at the same time acting in an ethical manner. Many of the times, businesses are faced with situations where they need to make tough decisions, and at the same time remaining ethical. Sometimes we see businesses that have made unethical decisions that later affects their reputation; that is why Buffet insists on protecting the reputation and integrity of a business by acting ethical. Buffet even argues that it is safe for a billionaire to lose money but not reputation. I agree with the sentiments because money lost can be recovered, but once a reputation is lost, there is no coming out of it.
