How do you know? 2. Describe any deception in this study. 3. Do you think the deception was necessary? Why or why not? 4. If you were a member of an IRB, would you have approved this study? What weaknesses do you see in this study?  The weakness that I see with this study, is that the subjects used in this study may have been “insane” before they were ever emitted into the hospital. Like I said before, there is no fine line that separates the sane from the insane. With this being said, there are no real ways to understand if the hospitalization made these individuals more insane than they may have already been. [Show More]
