Week 3 Case Comments This week we covered a multitude of cardiovascular drugs as we explored pharmacologic management of HTN, CHF and arrhythmias. In this overview I have information regarding the t... hought process behind making pharmaceutical choices. Our patient certainly need further evaluation. As some suggested his palpitations/ectopy may have been an adverse effect from the thiazide due to hypokalemia. An EKG would help us with the diagnosis.
