ENG 102 FINAL EXAM REFLECTION ESSAY – Nevada State College Jacob Homan ENG 102 Hoffman 5/3/19 Final Exam Reflection The first attempt at anything new we try isn’t always going to be the b... est. It normally takes time for people to adjust and progress. For example, Steven Spielberg’s first film he created was “The Sugarland Express”. That film was rated 6.8/10 on IMDB. In Michael Jordan’s first career professional game he only scored 16 points. Dr. Seuss’s first book “And to Think that I saw It on Mulberry St” was only given 3 out of 5 stars. All these American icons didn’t let their first attempt define their whole career. They - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - -The bully project was a great factor in helping me better understand fallacies. Going forward, I feel I am a much better reader than I was before. With the endless amounts of Peer Review’s we had done in class, to reading chapters in the textbook I have established a different mindset when viewing someone else’s writing as opposed to mine. I’ve learned reading someone else’s work can be a lot more helpful than reading your own. I am very grateful to have learned everything I did in English 102 and I will not be afraid to use my methods and skills when improving my writing material. Looking forward, I am very excited to apply these skills in the near future and I hope to impress my next English professor with the information I have learned as a writer. [Show More]
