The components of the physical exam that are important to review in this case include the temperature, skin, hair, nails, eyes, mouth/pharynx, jugular venous pressure, chest and lungs, blood pressure, and respiration among others. The pertinent positive findings that helped in formulating the diagnosis include hypertension, swelling of less and abdomen, bloating of the abdomen, tachycardia, and fatigue. Negative physical findings that helped in formulating the diagnosis include no loss of appetite. 3. Which differential diagnosis is to be considered with this case study? What was your final diagnosis? Differential diagnosis to be considered in this case include myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, cirrhosis, and heart failure.
